ok so appreciation to everyone who anwsered my question of who should i do my report thing on.. i wound up choosing bob marley because he had a major influence on culture, music and religion and yes, we still exalt him. i know most people think of pot and rasta stuff when they think of marley but i need little facts about him. this is a 14 glide power point. so far i have 5 slides. one being my tittle page. EARLY LIFE & CHILD HOOD -born Robert “Bob” Nesta Marley -Born February 6, 1945 -Pa was Norval Sinclair Marley -His mother was Cedella Booker, -Born in the small village of Nine Mile, Jamaica -Ancestor died from a heart attack when Bob was 10 years old. -Often got teased because his mother was black and his father was white, he was tremulous of his racial origins. I NEED A TITLE FOR THIS SLIDE-- ANWSER! -Marley became friends with Neville “Bunny” Livingston who became well-known as Bunny Wailer -Left school at 14 to make music with Joe Higgs. -Later, Marley, Higgs, and Livingston met Peter McIntosh who would become the pith of several bands together later on. -Marley recorded his first singles "Judge Not" and "One Cup of Coffee" in 1962, produced by Leslie Kong. THE WAILERS -In 1963, Bob Marley, Bunny Livingston, Peter McIntosh, Lower Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith formed a band and called themselves “The Teenagers" -Future, they changed their name to “The Wailing Rudeboys” and again to “the Wailing Wailers” -Finally they decided on naturally “the Wailers” -In 1966, Braithwaite, Kelso, and Smith had left the group, leaving just Marley, Livingston, and McIntosh. -The wailers let go their first single “Simmer Down” which reached #1 on Jamaica's JBC Radio Chart in January 1964 I Privation A TITLE FOR THIS ONE TOO -On Feb. 10, 1966, Bob Marley married Rita Anderson, a vocalist for the female group the Soulettes. -In 1966, Marley agitated to Delaware to be with his mother. okay so i guess what im trying to ask is do you think that my titles for each slide is appropriate for the scoop, i need titles for the others, i need some more topics for the rest of my slides, any info you have that i can add to the topics i have or any info i can use in other slides and absolutely any thing you can offer to make my project better. im giving away the 10 pts easy=] locate sorces if u can, not a big deal if u cant=] on im in 9th grade but its for an A.P. music theory/history 11th grade class. yes im the only frosh. so it has to be smart and stuff haha. im playing one paramour throughout the presentation and i ment i need topics to use as titles of the slides i.e. Marley's religion which i used. thanks.
